Nice place to spend a day
It was a very nice no phone service but other then that is a great get away place
The road leading to the campground is not for the feint of heart. It's steep, narrow and windy. We tow a 42' fifth wheel behind a 1 ton dually. Also, make sure you get good directions when you make reservations as there are inconsistencies with the GPS and no cell service on the windy road. We were thankful for the disk breaks on the trailer! Upon arrival we were greeted by the most friendly owners. Access throughout the park is easy. The sites are big, level and there is lots of grass. We were there in the off season so there were limited amenities. I would imagine this would be an amazing time in the summer months!! My feedback to the owners - I would have liked information about the road leading to the campground when I made reservations. I also feel it was pricey for an off season stay.
Spent the 4th through the 6th in one of the cabins, the Train cabin, looked small BUT plenty of room for my family of 6. Clean, all the supplies were there except towels and bedding. Price was good, people were great. We loved the water bouncy obstacle course little extra but well worth the price. We would say perfect stay will be back. Thank you to the Cables for a wonderful place to relax.
Love it here...lake kayaking..fishing..picnics..great people running the place.
